FREECHURCH•NET:  Church Done Differently

There are a lot of churches in Webster, Penfield, and Fairport, NY. There are even more in the Greater Rochester area.

FreeChurch.net is a new church plant on the east side of Rochester, New York. We are affiliated with the Free Methodist Church. But being part of a denomination doesn’t stop FreeChurch.net from being a fun, contemporary, modern, casual, kid-friendly, biblical church. Our vision is to be people who love God, love others, and love life. We call it church done differently!

Casual:  Worship services are informal. Some people may wear ties, some may wear jeans. Regardless of what you’re wearing, you are welcome. The music rocks, the worship is meaningful, the messages are practical and helpful to living everyday life. We’re just a group of ordinary people serving an extraordinary God.

Modern:  We want to communicate God’s timeless story in today’s language. Therefore, we use any tool at our disposal that helps us to communicate the truth of the gospel. We worship and learn through modern music, prayer, multimedia, and creative Biblical teaching.

Biblical:  Our faith is based on the person and work of Christ and the Bible is where the history of salvation and Christ’s teachings are found. God’s Word provides us with all that is necessary for faith. Therefore, we look to the Scriptures for wisdom, understanding, guidance, and truth.

Friendly:  Newcomers are welcomed as friends and we’ll do all we can to make you feel at home.

Meaningful:  What could be more meaningful than making a connection with the one who created you? We want all people to be reconciled to God, freed from sin, and experience a new and abundant life through Christ—a life filled with love, hope, joy, and peace.

Kid’s JAM:  Kid’s JAM is the name of our children’s program at FreeChurch.net. JAM stands for Jesus And Me—and the word “jam” is a perfect description of what we want kids to experience—a program that jams!

Utilizing every sensory input, kids learn as they watch the Bible come alive. Better yet, they are taught how to apply these biblical principles to their real, everyday lives. Jesus becomes more than a historical person we merely learn about, he becomes the one who walks through life with us.

Kid’s JAM utilizes fun music, engaging teaching, drama, video, snacks, art and more to teach kids about the Bible! We try our best to create an environment where kids will enjoy their time so much they will beg their parents to bring them back every week.

Kid’s JAM is for children in K–5th grade.

Nursery & Childcare:  At FreeChurch.net we LOVE children! You are more than welcome to keep your children with you during the service, but child care is available. We work very hard to create a healthy, safe, and fun environment where your child can be cared for while you are in the service.
